MEDIA TRADING – a new Internet media agency in the Czech Republic (19.09.2007)

Expenses on Internet advertising are continuously growing. For instance in Great Britain, according to the Internet Advertising Bureau, these expenses in 2005 achieved 1.4 billion pounds, which is almost the same sum that had been spent on advertising in printed media. This trend is, among other things, influenced by growing possibilities of wideband connection – a higher number of pages is displayed; also the expanding entertaining industry makes wide use of multimedia achievements. A significant share in this development is to be attributed to improving services provided in the process of job searching, in the financial segment, car sale and others.

There are many companies in the Czech Republic whose yearly advertising budget amounts to several million CZK, but these financial means are not always spent with adequate efficiency. The marketing specialists of these companies often lack access to required data and analyses. They also make purchases based on subjective views. Therefore there is space for the emergence of media agencies focusing directly on this clientele.

This is the reason why a new firm focusing on the Internet advertising, the MEDIA TRADING company, has decided to start its activities in the Czech Republic. This agency is a media division of the INTERNET TRADING company, s.r.o., which has already carried out over 35 thousand advertising campaigns on the Internet market exceeding the value of 500 million Czech crowns.

According to an announcement by René Libiše, the agency director, the main activity is to be securing complete execution of Internet communication, independent planning and purchases of advertising hoardings over the whole Internet and individual statistics for advertising campaigns, market analyses and competition monitoring, providing strategic consultations etc.

Out of several hundred salesmen, 15 specialists have been selected and trained for this activity. This highly qualified team have at their disposal a number of state-of-the-art marketing tools, thanks to which the members of the team are able to plan effective and efficient advertising campaigns.

By the end of this year the company expects to have become a representative of more than 60 clients with an advertising budget over 50 million CZK.
